While I may have been blessed with a flat tummy and J-Lo butt, I certainly wasn't blessed with great skin. I found over the many years of applying 'the ole slap' that most foundations made the skin more blocked up exacerbating skin issues and, quite frankly, even if it looked good at first application after a few hours your face was cracking or looking obviously like foundation, thus your face having a 'fake' skin look, which isn't ideal.
Then along came 'Sheer Cover' the first company to discover and market MINERAL FOUNDATION, my skins savior! This stuff is awesome, with promotional adverts showing live demonstrations of how the effective application of the sheer cover products range provides flawless coverage for even the most affected skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, scar tissue etc. Style Confession No. 4

Yes, indeed, the flawless look is not actually good skin its just darn good make up ladies!
And thus once the rest of the cosmetic market caught on, mineral foundations are now available through various companies such as L'oreal and Christian Dior. I still highly recommend using Sheer Cover products regardless of the availability of other brands, although my favorite and chosen product is Dior Skin mineral powder by Christian Dior. its about £35 a pot but it will last and gives great coverage and a light weightless feel on your skin.
